In addition to deepening educational research in each of the specialized areas of environmental science, languages and culture, human sciences, social welfare, clinical psychology and cognition and behavior, the Graduate School of Sustainable System Sciences promotes education and research based on ideas that are free of conventional academic frameworks, by encouraging cross-disciplinary, scholarly exchanges. The Graduate School aims to become a base for fostering human resources who possess advanced, systematic thinking abilities and cross-disciplinary applied skills, and who contribute to realizing a sustainable society.
