In the 21st century, which has become an “urban era” in which the majority of mankind lives in cities, urban management that emphasizes the concept of urban management, particularly the concepts of “industrial and organizational innovation” and “sustainability”, is necessary. In this Graduate School, students learn about various challenges in urban management, such as town development, public policy/industrial policy, administrative management/governance of local governments and NPOs, business innovation and enhanced ICT support of small- and medium-sized enterprises/ventures, and management innovation of medical care and welfare, from the perspectives of economy, management, policy, laws/administration, local research, etc.
