大阪公立大学（仮称）学長予定者決定のお知らせ／Announcement Concerning the Prospective President of the University of Osaka (Tentative Name)

大阪府立大学・大阪市立大学が融合して新たに誕生する大阪公立大学（仮称・設置構想中）の学長予定者を決定しました。

9月24日（木）に開催した会見で、辰巳砂学長予定者は、「新しい大学では大阪府立大学、大阪市立大学の垣根をなくし、世界から認められる高度研究型大学を目指したい」とコメントしました。

学長予定者氏名：辰巳砂　昌弘（たつみさご　まさひろ）

任期：2022年4月1日～2025年3月31日（3年間：予定）

Announcement Concerning the Prospective President of the University of Osaka (Tentative Name)

The prospective president of the University of Osaka (Tentative name: Undergoing approval), to be established by the merger of Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka City University, has been decided as follows.

Name of the Prospective President： Masahiro Tatsumisago

Term： April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025

Note: The official application chartering the new university will be submitted in October 2020 and we expect to receive an approval from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in AY 2021.
