大阪府立大学、大阪市立大学に対して、2020年7月15日（水）正午、16日（木）正午、17日（金）正午に、各キャンパスの主要施設を爆破すると予告があり、警察の協力のもと、施設内の不審物の確認、不審者への警戒、施設周辺の巡回等を行いましたが、予告時刻における爆発等の被害はございませんでした。

当法人では、学生・教職員および関係者の安全確保を最優先と考え、7月15日（水）から7月17日（金）の爆破予告時間（正午）の前後は、原則、両大学の各キャンパスへの立ち入りを禁止しておりましたが、7月20日（月）より通常業務を再開いたします。

今回の事件を踏まえ、引き続き警戒を継続するとともに、威力業務妨害として所轄警察と連携し、必要な措置を講じて参ります。

尚、学内で不審物や不審者を発見した場合は、速やかに、最寄りの守衛室または下記までご連絡ください。

Bomb Threats on Osaka Prefecture University (OPU) / Osaka City University (OCU) and Our Response

Update: 20 July 2020

Threats were made on OPU and OCU that bombs were placed at major facilities of each campus and were set to explode at noon on Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July 2020. In cooperation of the police, we checked for suspicious objects in both facilities, kept guard against suspicious persons and patrolled both facilities. Thankfully, no damages occurred.

At our corporation, we give top priority to ensuring the safety of all students, faculty and staff, and related personnel and thus prohibited anyone from entering both campuses before and after the bomb threat time and days. Operations are back to normal as of Monday 20 July.

Due to this incident, we will continue to keep an eye out and take necessary measures to cooperate with the police officials in charge, as this was forcible obstruction of business.
